Privacy and processing

All processing happens in this browser tab. Nothing you open, paste or type is sent to ToolsWebPro servers. The viewer does not connect to KSeF, cannot download invoices by KSeF number and does not validate against the official XSD schema.

How to use KSeF Invoice Viewer

  1. 1Download the invoice XML from KSeF, your accounting software or the supplier's email.
  2. 2Select Open KSeF XML, or paste the XML. Try the sample invoice to see the layout first.
  3. 3Read seller, buyer, lines, the VAT summary and payment details. Check any warnings at the top.
  4. 4Select Print or save as PDF for a readable copy, or Show all XML fields to see every element.

What you can do

  • FA(3) and FA(2)

Reads the current FA(3) structure and older FA(2) files, and says which one the file uses.

  • Invoice type labels

VAT, corrective (KOR), advance (ZAL), settlement (ROZ) and simplified invoices, with corrected invoice references.

  • VAT summary by rate

Net and VAT amounts per rate from the P_13 and P_14 fields, plus the amount due.

  • Consistency warning

Flags when invoice lines do not add up to the VAT summary.

  • All fields view

Lists every XML element and value, so nothing the summary omits is hidden.

When this tool helps

Reading an invoice a Polish supplier sent as XML when you have no KSeF software.

Checking an FA(3) file your own system generated before or after sending it to KSeF.

Printing a readable copy for approval, filing or a foreign colleague who does not read the XML.

About KSeF Invoice Viewer

Since 1 February 2026 Polish VAT invoices are issued through the National e-Invoice System (KSeF) as XML in the FA(3) logical structure published by the Ministry of Finance. The XML is the legal invoice, but it is hard to read: amounts sit in coded fields such as P_13_1 (net amount at the basic rate), P_14_1 (VAT at that rate) and P_15 (total due), and each line is a FaWiersz element. This viewer maps those fields to plain labels and shows the invoice the way an accountant expects to see it. The file name KSeF uses often contains the KSeF number; when it does, the viewer shows it. What it does not do: it is not the official visualisation, it does not add the KSeF verification QR code, and it does not check the file against the XSD schema or KSeF business rules, so keep the original XML for your records. For EU Peppol, UBL, XRechnung or ZUGFeRD invoices use the Peppol invoice viewer. Read how to open a KSeF XML invoice for the field meanings.

Drop the XML you downloaded from KSeF or received from a supplier and see it as a normal invoice: parties with NIP, invoice lines, the VAT summary by rate, the amount due, payment terms and bank account. Corrective, advance and settlement invoices are labelled, and every XML field can be listed. It runs in your browser with no KSeF login.

Frequently asked questions

How do I open a KSeF XML invoice?
Select Open KSeF XML and choose the file. The viewer shows seller, buyer, invoice lines, VAT by rate and payment details. You can then print it or save it as PDF from the print dialog.
Is this the official KSeF visualisation?
No. It is a readable view of the XML made in your browser. It does not include the KSeF verification QR code. The XML file remains the legal invoice.
Does it work with FA(2) files?
Yes. FA(2) files open and are labelled as FA(2). Invoices issued in KSeF from 1 February 2026 use FA(3).
Can it download invoices from KSeF by number?
No. It does not log in to KSeF. Download the XML from KSeF or your accounting software first, then open it here.
Does the viewer validate the invoice?
It warns about missing totals and lines that do not add up to the VAT summary, but it does not validate against the official XSD schema or KSeF business rules.
