About VCF to CSV Converter

A .vcf (vCard) file stores contacts as text blocks between BEGIN:VCARD and END:VCARD, with lines such as FN for the name, TEL for each phone number and EMAIL for each address. Phones export every contact into one .vcf file, but spreadsheets and CRMs expect CSV with one contact per row. This converter reads every vCard in the file, keeps multiple numbers and emails in their own columns, and writes a UTF-8 CSV that Excel opens with names intact. It is the reverse mode of the CSV to VCF converter, so you can edit a list in Excel and turn it back into a .vcf for your phone. For a step-by-step export from iPhone or Android, see how to export phone contacts to Excel. If Excel shows the wrong separator, fix it with the CSV delimiter converter.

Turn a vCard export into a spreadsheet you can open in Excel or Google Sheets. Every contact becomes one row, with separate columns for multiple phone numbers and emails. Files with many contacts, vCard 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0, and accented names are handled. Your contacts stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a VCF file to CSV?
Open the .vcf file here, check the preview and download the CSV. Each contact becomes one row with columns for name, phone numbers, emails and other details.
Can I open the result in Excel?
Yes. The CSV is UTF-8 encoded so accented names display correctly. If all data lands in one column, use Data → From Text/CSV in Excel and choose comma as the separator.
Does it handle a file with hundreds of contacts?
Yes. Phone exports usually contain all contacts in one .vcf file, and every vCard in it is converted.
Are my contacts uploaded?
No. The file is read and converted in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I convert the CSV back to VCF?
Yes. Switch the tool to CSV to VCF, open your edited spreadsheet and download a .vcf file for your phone.
